Bucket list event alert! The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) invites you to join our team for an unforgettable adventure at the 2025 Big Sur International Marathon.

This world-famous marathon is run on the scenic Highway 1 in California from Big Sur to Carmel. Known as one of the world’s most beautiful races, the course features stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, towering redwoods, coastal mountains, and verdant pastures. Taking place on April 27, 2025, the Big Sur International Marathon has a strict six-hour time limit, and with the small field size of 4,500 runners, places are in high demand.

All you need to do is commit to raising $2,500. #TeamCRI will provide full support for your training and fundraising every step of the way, right up to the moment you lace up your sneakers on race day! Your donation will help raise critical funds for groundbreaking cancer immunotherapy research worldwide.

Race entry is not guaranteed until you have completed our registration form and have been assigned a slot through Team CRI’s RealBuzz account.

FUNDRAISING

Team CRI runners must commit to fundraising a minimum of $2,500, due in full by Saturday, April 26, 2025.

What if I don’t reach my fundraising minimum?
If you do not reach your fundraising minimum by the deadline, CRI will charge the balance to the credit card provided on your registration form.

What if I cannot participate after I register?
Every team member who officially registers and obtains an entry through Team CRI is committed to reaching their fundraising minimum by the deadline regardless of any situations that may arise. These entries are vital fundraising opportunities for the Cancer Research Institute, which is why we ask everyone to commit to their fundraising goal when we assign the race entry to their name.
