Health and safety


Occupational health and safety have top priority in the Wieland Group and are continuously improved. We work towards an environment free of accidents, injuries, illnesses or health complaints for all persons who work directly or indirectly on our behalf and applies to all sites throughout the Group. Our vision is that everybody goes home safe every day. Derived from this, we pursue the longterm target of reducing the Lost Time Incident (LTI) rate by 90 % by 2030 compared to fiscal year 2019/20. In the reporting year 2021/2022, the LTI rate improved to 1.6.

We are committed to diversity and inclusion to protect and promote the individuality of our employees. This is a core value of our corporate culture. As a result, we are aiming to increase the proportion of women in top management positions from 16 % at present to 20 % by 2030.

As a company with global operations and a long tradition behind it, the Wieland Group has considerable social
responsibility. This is also enshrined in our corporate policy. Our focal areas are "Education and Science" and "Social and Cultural Affairs". We bundle our various activities under the motto "Wieland cares - locally and globally".
